The Brief

Google is always looking to improve its algorithms, and has launched the challenge of creating a program to train more black content creators, so that more content produced by black people appears in searches. The program was focused on creating websites, a platform where few creators currently work.

The idea / Result

The program addressed topics such as Strategy, Design, Wordpress, Writing, Editing Tools, Storytelling, SEO, Data Analysis, Trends, Monetization, Finance and others. It also had mentorships, individual and collective psychological follow-up, meditation classes, yoga, speech therapy and lectures on mental health.

It selected 100 black creators, gave them all scholarships, and each of them created a website at the end of six months of classes.

My role

I was invited by Creators.llc s to plan the entire experience, define the theme of classes, curriculum, mental health activities, select and interview teachers, direct them to create classes within our needs and expectations, and ensure the educational quality of the program. I also lectured about finances and management on Module 1 and designed the Graduation Experience.
